Jude's Story

My name is Russell Lytton, DC and I am a chiropractor practicing in Phoenix, AZ. My wife Lisa was in Waterloo visiting family with our 3 month old son, Jude. Lisa noticed Jude was grabbing his left ear often and seemed very uncomfortable as though he may be developing an ear infection. She called me in Phoenix wondering what she should do. Knowing that chiropractic has helped many children with this condition I quickly called Dr. Zimmerman to see if he would have time to see Jude. He was very accommodating and was able to see him that same day. Following his examination, he concluded that Jude's atlas bone was misaligned and would need a correction. Lisa felt very comfortable with Dr. Zimmerman and allowed him to do so, as did Jude. After the correction, Dr. Zimmerman told Lisa the correction went smoothly and that she might expect Jude to have some atypical bowel movements as this is often common in children developing an ear infection. 

 

Upon talking to Lisa the next day she reported that Jude had stopped grabbing his ear and was giggling and acting much, much happier. He also had two large bowel movements that were not of his usual consistency.
